JZ Structural Consulting Inc. has openings in Chantilly, VA - Structural Engineer: Apply BIM principles in the performance of structural analyses and preparation of structure drawings for new residential and commercial buildings. Perform calculations, including ductility analysis, seismic analysis, and seismic base isolation. Prepare and review shop drawings of cold-formed steel structural members. Calculate costs and analyze collected data to determine feasibility of projects. Prepare reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and/or designs. Answer RFIs and resolve compliance issues. Requires master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience. 1 year must include experience with AutoCAD, ENERCALC, and RAM Structural.
